Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actor from Manama, Bahrain and was raised in a multi-ethnic home. Her father Elroy is Sri Lankan (Catholic Sinhalese) and her mother Kim, a Malaysian. There are two brothers as well as one older sister. In the 80s, her parents fled to Bahrain because of civil war on Sri Lanka. This is why she was both born and raised in Bahrain. After that, she went into the world of television, hosting an interview show on Sri Lankan business called Lanka Business Report. Padukone is the daughter of badminton star Prakash Padukone. She was raised in Bangalore and born in Copenhagen. She played badminton at the national championships when she was young teenagers, however she decided to give up her sport career to pursue a career as a model. Padukone comes from Mangalore and her mother language is Konkani. Her family tree is rooted in Padukone village, which is located in Kundapura Taluk in the Udupi District of Karnataka, the Indian state. Karnataka, India.
